Bazaar is one of the maps in Paladins and was released in the Paladins 2.5 update.
Like every Siege Map, Bazaar also has certain callouts.
Description[ | ]
This map is one of the few maps with a rotated layout, unlike most maps, having a mirrored layout. The map has a unique design, with the two sides having different appearances that distinguishes them. Like all other siege maps, There is a Capture Point in the middle. The bases are located at opposite ends of the map.
The Game Mode that is currently playable in this map is Siege.
Lore[ | ]
Centuries ago when the moon shattered and had its fragments rain down into the Realm below,[1] around one of these shards, Followers of Io gathered, building the town of Bazaar to care and protect for the piece of their goddess that had fallen.[2] They also created a group of martial warriors to guard other pieces of the moon nearby in the Shattered Desert to ensure the force that had shattered their goddess wouldn't break free to cause destruction in the Realm.[3] For the following centuries, the area was peaceful, even while the north of the Realm was ravaged by war.[4]
It remained this way, until the conflict of the Crystal War eventually found its way into the Lunar Coast. The Magistrate and Resistance had arrived in the Shattered Desert, seeking the legend of the force that shattered the moon in order to defeat the other,[5] as well as being attracted by strange tears in reality. Expectedly, when the two met, battle ensued, at first in the Shattered Desert itself, but soon, the conflict ended up engulfing Bazaar as well.
The Magistrate gained the upper hand in this battle, and although Io didn't wish to fight, upon seeing the destruction of her people and the urging of Jenos, she finally reappeared after centuries of hiding to end the conflict by attacking Corvus, causing the Magistrate to retreat, and soon after, the Resistance as well.
However, while the battle had ended, the damage caused by it remained; the city had been destroyed, and nearby in the Shattered Desert, almost all of the martial warriors had been killed. Witnessing this destruction and Io doing little to prevent it, Vora, the last remaining warrior, broke her oath to keep the Realm safe and unleashed the Darkness she was meant to keep at bay.[6] Using its power, she soon returned to her hometown of Bazaar, coming into conflict with Atlas and Lex before later destroying the large center statue of Io,[7][8] then heading back to the Shattered Desert to assist Yagorath in a battle against various champions.[9]
As can be seen in Trials of the Realm[10], as well as the official map of the Realm, Bazaar is part of a larger area known as the 'Lunar Coast', alongside the Shattered Desert, Ascension Peak, and the Thousand Hands Guild.
Special Feature(s)[ | ]
Doors[ | ]
This map has three doors on each side, which only open for the respective team. These doors are marked in the team colours blue or red as an indicator for which team the door will open. After the door is opened, the opposing team has two seconds to run through the door before it closes again. In certain places, champions with vertical abilities can overcome these doors.

- As shown here, the center statue of Io was possibly going to be in a somewhat more dynamic pose, and wielding a more standard bow and arrow, as in line with Io's early concepts.
