Champion Masteries

CHAMPIONS ➞ PICK CHAMPION ➞ PROGRESSION

Champion Mastery is a requirement to unlock some Champion-specific content. Mastery with a Champion can only be increased by playing matches with the Champion to gain Champion XP.

Each mastery level has a different experience requirement. Reaching different mastery levels with each champion grants special rewards and could unlock new cosmetic items on the store.

Using a Personal Champion XP Booster before a match will increase the amount of Champion XP earned. Personal Champion XP Boosters are purchasable in the Bounty Store.

Champion Mastery Unlocks

• Mastery MVP
  • 10,000  •  40
  • Becomes available after reaching mastery level 5 or higher with a champion.
  • Not all Champions have a Mastery MVP pose.

• Mastery Emote
  • 15,000  •  60
  • Becomes available after reaching mastery level 9 or higher with a champion.
  • Not all Champions have a Mastery Emote.

• Obsidian Collection
  • 30,000  •  160
  • Becomes purchasable after reaching mastery level 14 or higher with a champion.
  • Not all Champions have these skin variants.

• Cosmic Collection
  • 40,000  •  200
  • Becomes purchasable after reaching mastery level 20 or higher with a champion.
  • Not all Champions have these skin variants.

• Golden Collection
  • Free
  • These skin collections are rewarded after reaching mastery level 50 with a champion.

• Level 0–49:
  • Total experience required equation: $E = level \times (level + 1) \times 10,000$

Trivia

• There was a way to purchase Champion mastery levels with Gold (every 20 experience points costing 1 ). It was removed with the Paladins 3.2 update.
• At mastery level 18 players were rewarded with a Mastery Spray, which was an unique Spray for the champion that displayed the champion's Mastery level.
