Dawnforge is one of the maps in Paladins and was released in the Paladins 5.7 update.
Like every Siege Map, Dawnforge also has certain callouts.
Description[ | ]
This map has mirrored layouts and is designed for 2 teams of 5 players. There is a Capture Point in the middle. The bases are located at opposite ends of the map.
The only Game Mode that is currently playable in this map is Siege.
Lore[ | ]
A mobile fortress of the Eternal Pyre that once belonged to the Queen of the Pyre, but nowadays is under Azaan's command. The Dawnforge serves as his home and base of operations, as well as a refuge for the forces of the Pyre, and a munitions factory, where by using the power of a small star, an army of constructs is created.[1][2]
However, following Azaan's recent descent into the Realm, he began to feel the walls of reality start to break down, with something even worse than Yagorath preparing to emerge from the other side. Coupled with viewing the Realm as incapable of fighting off a full scale Abyssal invasion, Azaan decided to summon Dawnforge into the Realm, slowly creating a rift between the realm of the Pyre and that of the Realm itself. While Azaan plans to use the power of Dawnforge to stop whatever this looming threat is, he's also fully prepared to destroy the Realm himself if he must in order to prevent the Abyss from corrupting it.[3]
Hazard(s)[ | ]
Cliff Ledges[ | ]
These can be found near the Orb and the Side Entrance, but they regardless make champions with knockback abilities ideal for easy eliminations, as well as punishing Champions that lack flight/teleportation abilities who are therefore susceptible to being launched off the map without having any sort of means for recovery...
Special Feature(s)[ | ]
Star[ | ]
Unique to this map, a small star is present on the side of the map, which slowly deals 5% damage to anyone that gets too close. However, a button is present next to the star, and upon activating it by stepping on it, the star will hover towards the capture point, where it'll remain for a short period, forcing players to spread out in order to avoid it.
Forge[ | ]
Another unique feature of this map is the forge. Present near the control point, the forge constantly moves its hammer up and down as the Dawnforge creates an army of constructs. As one may expect, standing underneath this hammer as it creates a construct will kill the player.
Portal[ | ]
A one-way portal is present in the middle of the map, teleporting players to the upper floor.
Jump Pads[ | ]
Jump Pads that launch players into the air can be found around the map.
Spawn Teleport[ | ]
As opposed to most other maps, the spawn rooms present on Dawnforge lack a ceiling and wall at the back, allowing for players to fall off the map. However, if players do jump off the map, they'll be teleported back into the spawn room rather than die.

Trivia[ | ]
- In order to promote this map and the associated update, teasers involving Pyre runes that were previously used for Azaan's teasers made a reappearance.
- The first was simply an image of the Pyre alphabet, though a link to a special page was also included. This page would prompt users for a password, and upon typing "firesofsalvation", an image of the map's layout would be shown.
- Another teaser making the password obvious would be uploaded later, with the message reading "Spread the Fires of Salvation to every shadow lest they burn out for all eternity".
- Rather than standard invisible walls surrounding the map, instead, Pyre energy will appear and create a wall if players are too far from the map, such as by using Drogoz.
- This map wasn't based on any pre-existing test map.[4]
