Deepwerks is a Magistrate facility located in Crosswind Hold. The Crystal-Powered Technology once used across the Realm was seemingly first developed here, much of it attributed to Barik.[1] It's unknown for certain exactly what type of research is done in Deepwerks, though some of their more enigmatic discoveries are supposedly contained in the Magistrate's Archives.[2]

- Talus visited Deepwerks on his quest for knowledge,[3] where he stole Torvald's research and obtained his initial information on Ska'drin past and magic.[4][5]
- The ability to use the magical properties of crystals comes down to the spell / rune crafting of the crystal in question, as well as one's own capabilities with magic, with one of the places that one could learn this potentially being Deepwerks.[6][7]
