Lore

The Patriarch of House Aico issued a challenge to his captains: keep the house's banner upright for the longest amount of time. Men strong enough to toss lesser men across the battlefield tried, but few were strong enough to last even a day with the banner in-hand.

The last captain to attempt the test, a young man named Khan, held the banner in his hands for hours. As his arms tired, he beckoned to a common servant and tasked her with taking the banner from him and keeping it upright.

"Even though I must fall," he said, "the banner will remain."

Thus he passed the test, for this was no test of strength, but one of loyalty to House Aico. Khan proved himself worthy of command with his actions that day. Now, he serves Lian as advisor and protector, a steadfast supporter of House Aico.

Summary

Khan is a offensive/semi-support front line. The primary weapon Heavy Repeater deals damage up to medium range. His skills center around solidifying team position and breaking apart enemy lines with Commander's Grab. He can support his team with Battle Shout, which will heal him and the team mates around him. In addition he has a decent movement speed for a frontline. His ultimate Overpower, targets an enemy and drags them to you.

• Khan's current armor is the fourth or fifth version of it, as revealed (timestamp 51:40) here.
• Khan and House Aico lost the battle at Siege of Ascension Peak, as revealed here.
• As mentioned here, Khan leads multiple armies.
• According to this tweet and a response to it, Khan's line insulting the Ska'drin is a combination of Khan being obsessed a bit too much with honor, as well as referencing how the Ska'drin are discriminated against.
• As stated in Khan's official Twitter, he prefers being up close and personal in combat.
• Based on a dev statement revealing Viktor to be around 5'9 or 175cm tall, it was discovered that Khan would be around 6'2 or 189cm tall.

• Khan makes his first appearance as a background cameo in the "A Realm Divided" cinematic months before his release. However, his cameo uses a scrapped design and not his final design, as seen here. In lore, however, this design is a previous version of his current armor, as stated here.
• Lian appears in the Orders emote when using Khan's default, Royal Guard, and Overlord skins, and can also be heard speaking when using the emote with Khan's Mixer and Eternal Guardian skins.

• The emote "Resistance is Futile" is a reference to the Siege of Ascenion Peak event.

• Khan is tied with Jenos, Lian, and Strix as having received the most unique skins from Battle Passes.
• As revealed here, Khan was not initially able to move when using his ultimate, but when testing, Khan was accidentally not set to be rooted in place, and upon seeing this, the developers decided being able to move around while using Khan's ult was better.
• Khan used to have a secondary idle animation that would occasionally play in the champion select screen and individual champion page. It was seemingly quietly removed in the Darkness and Dragons update. The original animation can be seen here.
• Khan is one of the only characters to have appeared in an in-game cutscene. He shares this trait with Furia, Viktor (old appearance), and Abyssal Lord Drogoz.

• Royal Guard

• A royal guard is... well, a guard who protects royalty.

• Ameri-Khan

• This skin appears in a teaser for Lady Liberty Inara.
• The line "GET DOWN MR. PRESIDENT!" (▶️) is a reference to a meme involving someone leaping in front of another to protect them from an incoming bullet.
• The line "O SAY CAN YOU SEE!" (▶️) is a reference to the American national anthem, also known as The Star-Spangled Banner.
• When using the "Orders" emote with this skin, an Uncle Sam version of Viktor will appear in place of Lian. The voice line that plays also comes from the Code Green skins of Viktor's, with the line in question being "Fall in maggots! This here is a real man's war!" (▶️). In response, Khan will say "Ten foot four, gonna leave your butt sore!" (▶️)
• This skin shares its theme with Freegle Drogoz, Freedom Fighter Octavia, and Lady Liberty Inara.

• Overlord

• This skin is based on Khan as he appears in the past, as revealed (timestamp 51:40) here. However, this skin may no longer be considered canon, as can be seen here.
• This skin is one of the only ones to directly mention Karne by name twice (▶️ ▶️), as as well twice by his title of Grand Magister (▶️ ▶️). It shares this trait with Corvus.
• This skin is also one of the only ones to directly mention Valera by name (▶️). It shares this trait with Vora.
• When using the "Orders" emote with this skin, Lian will appear as usual, however, Khan will say "I missed you. Did you miss me?" (▶️ ▶️), in which Lian will respond with "No!" (▶️), at which point Khan will begin sobbing (▶️).
• This skin was part of the Dragon's Call event alongside Dragonborn Moji, Outlaw Sha Lin, and Aurora Furia.

• Mixer

• This skin shares its voice pack with the Overlord skin, making it the only skin to share its voice pack with another non-recolor skin.
• This skin is a promotional item based on the now-defunct streaming service Mixer.
• When using the "Orders" emote with this skin, a Mixer symbol is displayed, however, Lian is still heard speaking. Khan will respond with the same line from his default voice pack, rather than a unique one from the Overlord pack.

• As revealed here, these skins are known as 'Dynamite Dan'. It's also revealed he's wanted for safe-cracking, head-cracking, improper use of explosives, destruction of government property, destruction of government officials, and spitting on the sidewalk.
• The line "It's quiet. Too quiet..." (▶️) is a direct reference to a trope of the same name.

• The kill taunt against Viktor "You cannot run away from your fate, little cardio man!" (▶️) references a stereotype within Paladins, of Viktor players choosing the Cardio talent, then running away the moment they take any form of damage.
• The line "You know not the true meaning of the Pyre. I was born in it, molded by it; I saw naught the denizens of the Realm hunt while I was already a Lord!" (▶️) is a reference to lines spoken by Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.
