Leipori are a small rabbit-like species that appear to largely live in caverns under the Enchanted Forest known as 'The Burrows'. They seem to largely be covered in red fur, though based on Rei, other colored leiporis do seem to exist, however it's difficult to determine if the unique coloring is natural or only a result of transformation.
Leipori are seemingly typically timid in nature, with nearly all of them fleeing deeper in the forests rather than fight when the Crystal War broke out.[1] Oddly though, despite this general attitude, leipori inherently posses a lot of magical power,[2][3] particularly that of the Enchanted Forest,[4] which allows them to transform objects, including themselves if they have significant control over some type of "arcane forces".[5] Transformed leipori so far can still be identified by their ears and tail still being present on their bodies, though it's unknown if this is a limitation, or a deliberate choice by the transformed leipori seen so far.
