This is Nyx's official bio currently found in her champion page in-game.

In the far past, Nyx was once a Pyre Lord, working alongside Azaan and others in the seemingly eternal fight against the chaotic Abyss. Over time, she found herself disillusioned with the ways of the Pyre and their rigid controlling dogmas – so content to throw away countless lives in their endless wars. She would show the Pyre the power of freedom, true freedom.

Approached by the one who would eventually be known as Seris, they devised a plan for Nyx to begin her great betrayal. Nyx left the Pyre behind and traveled through one of Seris' portals into a Lord's fortress. Once there Nyx slew and subdued all who stood in her way in a violent bloodbath. Even the residing Lord was no match for her fury, their name lost to time – cementing Nyx as an Abyssal Lord. Her time in the Abyss has changed her physically, but she remains determined to bring a new age of chaos and freedom to the Realm. With her growing army behind her, she offers power to those who will accept it: a united front through strength and the chaos of free will – a force strong enough to overwhelm the Pyre wholly.

Originally one of the Pyre Lords that battled in the seemingly eternal war against the Abyss, over time, Nyx grew disillusioned with the Pyre's controlling nature and disregard for throwing away countless lives. Eventually approached by the Abyssal Lord that would one day become known as Seris, the two plotted Nyx's betrayal.

Arriving in the Abyss via one of the Abyssal Lord's portals, Nyx found herself within the fortress of a different Lord. She slaughtered everyone that stood in her way, which cemented her as an Abyssal Lord herself, while the others, such as the original Lord of the fortress, had their names forgotten to time.

As the years passed, Nyx began to physically change; coupled with the growing army behind her, Nyx offers power to those willing to accept it, with the ultimate goal of bringing a new age of chaos and freedom to the Realm, a force united through the chaos of free will, one strong enough to overwhelm the Pyre.

Following Azaan summoning Dawnforge into the Realm in order to combat an approaching threat, Nyx ventured to the fortress and easily defeated Azaan, restraining him and keeping him to watch what she planned to do the Realm.

Summary

Nyx is a resilient Frontline champion, one that can't be easily forced away without a good brawl. Her Realm Breaking punches deliver bursts of damage, with more damage delivered up close and after a few successful hits. Her passive, Queen of Change, lets her receive extra healing from allies. Rift Splash fires a projectile that deals greater damage and travels longer distances the longer the ability is channeled, and creates a rift that slows enemies and deals damage over time in an area. Abyssal Fortress lets Nyx deploy a shield that's stronger the closer it is deployed to her. Royal Presence creates an aura around Nyx that poisons enemies nearby plus stores and converts damage she takes into damage over time, which can buy her more time before succumbing to death. The ability can also be used to chain and pull in enemies trying to escape the brawl. Her ultimate, Chaos Nexus, converts damage stored by Royal Presence into health of her own, grants her damage reduction and crowd control immunity while casting, damages and pulls in all nearby enemies around her, and stuns them after a groundbreaking stomp.

Punch and send out energy in a five hit attack chain, dealing 200 damage quickly for the first three hits and 425 damage slowly for the last two. This chain resets to the first attack after missing 2 hits, or after not firing for 1.25s. Deal an extra 75 damage if your target is within 20 units of you. Has no Ammo or Reload.

Passive - Queen of Change

Gain up to 20% Bonus Healing from your allies the closer you are to an Objective Point. Gain a static 10% Bonus Healing on Maps without an Objective.

Fire a projectile that leaves behind an Abyssal Rift when it explodes; the projectile detonates on contact or after reaching its max travel distance. Hold down the activation button to channel this ability, causing the projectile to deal more damage and travel farther, reaching max power after channeling for 1.1s. The projectile will deal 200 damage and travel 25 units at base, 275 damage and 50 when charged >O.55s, and 350 damage and 100 units when charged for 1.1s. The Abyssal Rift left behind deals 50 damage to enemies within 30 units every 0.5s, reducing hit enemies' Movement Speed by 25% for 0.5s. After 2s the Abyssal Rift explodes, dealing 200 damage to enemies within 15 units.

• This ability deals Area Damage.
• Gains 2% ultimate charge per enemy hit with the projectile.

Call forth an Abyssal Shield with up to 4500 Health at the target location, placing it up to 90 units away. The Shield is stronger the closer it is placed to you, losing 1500 Health for every 30 units its placed away from you.

• The shield has a length of 30 units and is 20 units in height.
• Abyssal Fortress lasts for a fixed duration of 6 seconds.
• Won't go on cooldown until the shield goes down.
• Can be cancelled early by re-activating the skill.
• The Shield is stronger the closer it is placed to you:
  • 0 - 30 units: 4500 HP
  • 31 - 60 units: 3000 HP
  • 61 - 90 units: 1500 HP

Royal Presence

Description

Summon a poison aura that damages enemies and stores damage you take, dealing it to you over time. Reactivate to summon chains that pull enemies towards you.

Detailed Description

Summon a poison aura for 6s that follows you and Poisons enemies within 60 units for 5% of their maximum health over 6s. While this aura is active, any damage you take is instead stored, being dealt to you over 4s with additional damage refreshing the duration. Refiring this ability will send out Abyssal Chains that pull enemies within 50 units towards you, but will end the ability early.

• This ability deals Area Damage.
• You need to look approximately in the direction of the opponent/s to pull them towards you. The pull does 100 damage.
• There is a small window where Nyx's wings move in front of her like a shield during initial activation where she will cleanse all temporary damage taken within that timeframe. This allows her to tank burst damage and ultimates such as Skye's and Drogoz's.
• Generates 0.25% ultimate charge per second per enemy hit.

Tear a rift into the Abyss, becoming CC immune and taking 50% less damage for 2.2s and converting all damage stored with Royal Presence to Health. Deals 100 damage to enemies within 50 units every 0.5s and pull them in. After two pulses, stomp and cause an explosion, dealing 600 damage to enemies and stunning them for 2s.
