Out of Combat is a Gameplay Mechanic in Paladins.

Activation[ | ]

To activate the Out of Combat mechanic, a player must spend 5 seconds without:

  • Taking or dealing damage.
  • Using their weapon.
  • Using abilities that count as Weapon Shots.

An exception to this is Kinessa's Oppressor Mine which will enter neither target nor Kinessa into combat.

Effects[ | ]

If a Champion's health isn't full, a bar under the player's health bar will be displayed to indicate how long until that Champion is considered Out of Combat. Once they're Out of Combat, their current health will be regenerated by 300 HP + 4% of their maximum health, per second and there will also be an indication sound in the background playing until the champion has their health fully restored.
