Unknown Groups, as the name implies, are factions or groups that have been implied to exist in the Realm in some form, either in the present or distant past / future, but have not been given official names or explored in a major capacity.
Unidentified Symbols[ | ]
- Ancient Symbol - A unique symbol appears in several of Tiberius' cards, as well as on Tiberius himself. It's seemingly used as a symbol by the Tigron group Tiberius originates from, though at the same time, it doesn't seem to originate from them, as a torn banner can be seen with this symbol in the ancient temple Tiberius' sword was found in, with it being highly unlikely Tiberius' group put it there due to the sword having slumbered for millennia while Tiberius had spent quite awhile searching for it.
- Ice Mines Symbols - Two unknown symbols appear on the Ice Mines map, with the red symbol also appearing on Snowfall Junction.
- Fish Market Symbols - Some variations of another unknown symbol can be spotted on Fish Market.
- Fearless Leader Symbol - A unique symbol appears on the back of a cloak being worn by a rallying leader character in Fernando's card 'Fearless Leader'.
- Immovable Object Symbol - A symbol resembling an artistic depiction of a lion appears on a shield in Fernando's card 'Immovable Object'.
- Last Stand Symbol - Another unique symbol appears on a shield in Fernando's card 'Last Stand', bearing a slight resemblance to the Paladins' logo.
- Heraldry Symbol - Appearing next to a soldier wielding what appears to be a House Aico branded shield, albeit with different colors, another soldier wields a shield featuring a unique horse symbol in Lian's card 'Heraldry'.
- Tactical Retreat Symbol - A unique symbol appears on the upper arm of the character's uniform in Strix's card 'Tactical Retreat'.
- Moonlit Haunting Symbol - A unique symbol appears on the back of the character present in Kasumi's card 'Moonlit Haunting'. It's thought this may potentially be the symbol of the house that betrayed Kasumi.
- Surrounded by Fear Symbol - What appears to be another unique symbol appears on the walls in the background of Kasumi's card 'Surrounded by Fear'. It's additionally thought to be another potential symbol of the house that betrayed Kasumi.
- Deer Symbol - Appearing on a banner in the A Conflict Reignited lore cinematic, this symbol is suspected to be that of an unknown royal house.
- Elephant Symbol - Appearing on a banner in the A Conflict Reignited lore cinematic, this symbol is suspected to be that of an unknown royal house. An unused champion shares similar symbols on their armor, hinting that this symbol may be expanded into a new faction one day.
Implied Groups[ | ]
- Azaan's Kingdom - It's mentioned in Azaan's bio that he once ruled as king over a long-forgotten kingdom. It's implied to potentially be from several centuries ago, putting its existence before that of the original Paladins and possibly even before the entirety of the Age of the Paladins and most currently known Realm history.
- Divine Faction - Tiberius' card, Rising Stardom, features a large pair of eyes in the night sky, with it being mentioned the intent was to imply a connection between the Tigron and some divine faction, though this group was ultimately never expanded on.
- Future Anti-Darkness Resistance - Mentioned by Atlas in the Fight of the Shattered Desert story, at some point after the Magistrate and Resistance fell, the only ones left were those who fought against the Darkness, and of course, the beasts themselves.
- Kasumi's House - Mentioned in Kasumi's bio as a house that betrayed her in some form. It existed eons ago when Kasumi was still alive,[1] being a group that was meant to guard and protect people, but when Kasumi went to them for help, they obviously didn't help her.[2] Whether or not they still exist in some form in the modern day is unclear. This tweet potentially implies House Aico may be the group, or at least related to them, but as the various reasons listed here explain, House Aico actually being the group seems unlikely.
- Maeve's Crew - Mentioned in the line "Just wait 'til zhe crew hears about this!" (▶️) when Maeve wins a match. Possibly called "The Blades" due to Maeve's title being "of Blades", however, this is unconfirmed.
- Other Loyal Magistrate Houses - Implied in bios such as those of Fernando and Lian, as well as mentioned here and here, the Magistrate has several royal houses loyal to them beyond just House Aico.
- Other Noble Families - Similarly, additional noble houses have also been implied to exist in places such as Skye and Zhin's bio along with the Trial of the Realm description for Glacier Keep.
